Fusemachines Inc., a leading provider of enterprise AI talent solutions, today announced that applications are open for its flagship AI Fellowship Program for the year 2023. The program offers a comprehensive AI training opportunity curated by leading US university educators and delivered by notable external and in-house AI experts.

With AI Fellowship 2023, Fusemachines aims to expand the pool of AI talent in Nepal by training a diverse group of machine learning engineers, IT students and graduates with backgrounds in programming, mathematics and computer science. The candidates will undergo a multi-stage selection process and qualifying candidates will be granted full-scholarship to take the courses.

"AI Fellowship has been one of our most sought-after training programs in Nepal with thousands of applications each year,"
Sameer Maskey CEO and Founder, Fusemachines.

“We want to continually nurture the enthusiasm of our Fellowship participants by offering unparalleled access to best-in-class training and career opportunities.”

First launched in 2017 with the goal of bringing high-quality AI training opportunities in underserved markets, the program has been successfully completed by more than 600 fellows across five countries.

“Businesses globally are in need of skilled AI talent and we are catering directly to this market demand by empowering people from frontier markets like Nepal with top-of-the line AI training,”
Parag Shrestha Managing Director, South Asia at Fusemachines.

"With each new iteration of the program, we are also making a tangible impact on our mission to democratize AI by empowering hundreds of deserving, diverse sets of talent with top-notch, globally recognized AI skills and honing their competence to engage in international projects.”

AI Fellowship 2023 will offer Fusemachines’ proprietary Microdegree™ program. This year-long accelerated learning program will allow participants to sharpen their AI and data science skills through specialized courses in Machine Learning, Deep learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision, along with hands-on problem solving experience in critical projects.

Upon completion of the program, students will have developed a solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms as well as underlying mathematics and programming practices. The program will employ a blended learning method offering weekly live online classes conducted by highly regarded academicians and industry experts, programming assignments, group projects and proctored examinations. Additionally, most of the content will be available online for students to peruse at their own pace.
